On December 31, 2021, the nationwide new technology collection campaign organized by State Grid Corporation of China came to an end. After impartial, objective and comprehensive evaluation by experts from various technical fields of State Grid, our NseaVSG New Energy Power Station Fast Frequency Response System stood out from numerous new technologies and applications thanks to its scientific technical principles, advanced performance indicators and powerful practical functions. It was successfully selected into one of the 66 new technologies for promotion and application by State Grid in 2021.

To implement the national innovation-driven development strategy, support the construction of new-type power systems, accelerate the promotion and application of advanced technologies, products and materials in the energy and power sector, and facilitate the development of world-leading energy internet enterprises with Chinese characteristics, State Grid carries out annual collection and evaluation of new technologies and products. This initiative sorts out outstanding innovative achievements, selects innovative, safe and reliable technologies, boosts technological R&D, academic exchanges and achievement appraisal in the power industry, and accelerates the market implementation of new energy technologies and products. The inclusion of NseaVSG in the 2021 State Grid New Technology Promotion Catalog represents both recognition and encouragement for Zhongtai Huadian. Going forward, to better serve the strategic layout of building new-type power systems, we will further increase R&D investment, focus on new energy power auxiliary services, power grid dispatching support and demand side response businesses, and make full efforts to help China achieve the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.
