■ Database high availability

To meet the needs of uninterrupted operation of application systems and ensure the high availability of key applications built on NseaDB, Xihe Industrial Time Series Database Management System supports HA architecture (HA, i.e. HighAvailable, high availability cluster) and other multi machine hot backup solutions based on shared storage, ensuring that the system provides 7x24 hours of uninterrupted real-time database services, thereby ensuring the continuity of applications.


Taking a typical dual machine hot standby high availability scenario as an example, two NseaDB servers run simultaneously as master and slave database servers, and monitor each other's operating status through "heartbeat" communication between the master and slave machines. The schematic diagram of the NseaDBHA system structure is shown in the following figure:

Real time data synchronization

The NseaDB Xihe Industrial Time Series Database Management System has built-in data real-time synchronization (Nsea DSync) function, which has a complete data real-time synchronization mechanism. The source time series database can automatically synchronize the time series data of specified measurement points to the target time series database in real time. For the revision or supplementation of historical data, it will also be synchronized to the target temporal database in a timely manner, and it is allowed to supplement the historical data of any number of measurement points at any time period.


Nsea DSync is built into the Xihe Industrial Time Series Database Management System, allowing users to redefine data collection and transmission using Nsea DSync. Compared with traditional non built-in data transmission modules or tools, there are problems such as exponentially increasing failure points, decreased performance, decreased transmission immediacy and reliability, and difficulty in maintenance. In addition, it also supports cascading deployment, many to one aggregation, cross gateway deployment, breakpoint resume, lossless compressed transmission and other functions.


Cloud, edge, and end deployment

With the advent of the big data era, the scale of emerging business data is increasing exponentially, and the traditional "local database server+storage" architecture can no longer meet the needs of business development. The NseaDB Xihe Industrial Time Series Database Management System has the ability to batch read, write, store, query, and calculate real-time equations for massive data. Combined with cloud technology and distributed technology, it can achieve database deployment in the cloud, edge, and end, increasing the flexibility of system expansion.
